Baradi and Baradi of Meherpur Sadar Upazila of Meherpur District as per Memorandum No. 46.018.011.00, 00.001.11 (Part-1)-200 dated 17.04.2024 of Local Government, Ministry of Rural Development and Cooperatives, Local Government Division, UP-2 Branch In order to appoint and reserve the panel on temporary basis for 02 (two) vacancies of UP Secretary of Shyampur Union Parishad, handwritten applications are being invited from the permanent residents of Meherpur district subject to the following conditions.

Educational and other qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with CGPA of second division or equivalent from a recognized university
1. Applicant must be a citizen of Bangladesh by birth and a permanent resident of Meherpur district.
2. The applicant has to submit a handwritten application in the prescribed form. Hand written application will not be accepted without it.
3. The application form should reach the Deputy Commissioner, Meherpur by official post during office hours by 21.05.2014. No direct application will be accepted. Applications received after the stipulated time will not be accepted. Name of the post in bold letters on the envelope, esp
Quota (if any) and applicant's full name and address should be written in capital letters on the left side. The prescribed application form is available from the office of the District Commissioner, Local Government Branch, Meherpur or on the website www.meherpur.gov.bd.
4. Required information must be provided as per the instructions and requirements of the prescribed application form. Defective/incomplete application will be considered rejected. 5. In case of married female candidates, husband's permanent address should be mentioned.
6. Candidate's age limit should be between 18 to 30 years as on 21.05.2024. However, the age limit is relaxable up to 32 years in case of children of brave freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters and physically challenged candidates. No affidavit is admissible in respect of age.
7. The following documents should be attached with the application form:
a) 03 (three) copies of passport size color photographs attested by a first class gazetted officer should be attached at the designated place in the application form and 02 (two) copies of stamp size color photographs should be submitted. b) Citizenship certificate issued by the Mayor/Union Parishad Chairman of the concerned municipality.
c) Attested photocopies of all educational qualifications and experience (if any) certificates.
d) In case of freedom fighter children/pets of freedom fighters as per government policy, freedom fighter's national identity card, birth certificate, freedom fighter's certificate, release notice, gazette, ministry's certificate, national identity card of candidate in case of freedom fighter's grandson/granddaughter, national identity card of parents in case of freedom fighter's quota, along with the prescribed form. Attested copy and attested copy of certificate issued by First Class Gazetted Officer/Municipal Mayor/UP Chairman regarding relationship with freedom fighters should be submitted along with the application form.
8. 500/- (Five hundred) bank draft (irrevocable) in favor of Deputy Commissioner, Meherpur should be submitted along with the application form from any branch of Sonali Bank.
9. Job candidates have to apply through proper authority. No advance copy will be accepted in this case.
10. The address to which the candidate wishes to receive the admit card should be clearly mentioned on the envelope: An envelope of size 10"-4.5" containing an unused postage stamp of the value of Rs.10/- (Ten) should be enclosed with the application.
