80.00.0000.301(Confidential).11.2615.2023-103 of Bangladesh Public Service Commission Secretariat dated 08-11-2023 provisionally recommended National Pay Scale of Administrative Officers (Grade 10) for permanent posts in the Ministry of Shipping, 16000 of 2015- 16800-17640-18530-19460-20440-21470-22550-23680-24870-26120-27430-28810-30260-31780-33370-35040-36800-38640 as per rules and other allowances Grant of appointment on full temporary basis subject to the following conditions Done:
(1) As per rule 4 and 6 of Bangladesh Secretariat (Non-cadre Gazetted Officers and Non-Gazetted Employees) Recruitment Rules, 2014 you will work as Apprentice for two years. If you are found unfit to be retained during the apprenticeship period, you will be dismissed without assigning any reason or your apprenticeship period will be extended.
(ii) If you have married or are engaged to marry a foreigner, the appointment shall be deemed void. (3) If you are currently working in any government or private office, you have to take appropriate exemption (release) from your current authority and submit it to this ministry.
(4) Any condition not specifically stated in this letter shall be governed by the existing rules, orders and regulations of the Government in relation to your employment and any future rules made by the Government.
(5) After the completion of the period of apprenticeship, including an extended period if any, the appointing authority shall, if satisfied that the conduct and work of any apprentice during the period of apprenticeship have been satisfactory, shall make his service permanent.
(6) No apprentice shall be fixed to any particular post unless he has passed or undergone training in such examination or training as may, from time to time, be prescribed by Government order.
(7) You will not be entitled to any traveling allowance/daily allowance for joining this service.

You are directed to join the Ministry of Shipping by 05-05-2024 subject to the above mentioned conditions. If you do not join within the said date, this appointment letter will be considered cancelled.
